It's Year 3 and we're going all out to make this the best and the biggest Old Bags event, by far! In 2025 it raised a WHOPPING £1,750, more than double that of 2024. But we want to make 2026 even more special. Read on for how you can help.
We've all got handbags, right? Lots of 'em. And most of them languish in the wardrobe, too good to throw away but just never quite right for the occasion. That's why "Old Bags" was born. It's an initiative to declutter, streamline and, in doing so, raise valuable funds for a fabulous charity.
There are two ways to do your bit:

Alternatively, you can get in touch with me to arrange collection or drop-off to myself or Angie Lawrence.
The next event is set for Saturday 14th November 2026 and, as always, will be hosted by our lovely friends at The Bear pub in Cawston.

Myton Hospices are leaders in compassionate end of life care. Their work centres on patient wellbeing and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly they give patients more quality time with their loved ones.
A charity, just 20% of its funding comes from the NHS and this year alone, they need to raise £11 million of the £14.3 million it costs to continue providing services free of charge to patients and their loved ones.
Last year Myton supported thousands of people and their families, in their hospices, via their patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
